Our curriculum is play based with planned activities and learning times using the State of CT Early Learning Developmental Standards as a guide. Our activities are planned with goals in mind to give children a foundation for learning. Our Christian beliefs, our teacher-child interactions, the interests and experiences of all build upon the foundation for early learning.  Throughout our curriculum, children will gain knowledge of social skills, creative experiences such as art and music, early math and science, early literacy and writing skills.

Hilltop has recently invested in The Creative Curriculum® to support our curriculum planning. Creative Curriculum is a comprehensive, research-based curriculum that features exploration and discovery as a way of learning. The resources align perfectly with the State of CT Early Learning Developmental Standards.
